Lucknow Chess Association (LCA) is the official governing body for the promotion and development of chess in Lucknow district. Affiliated with the UP Chess Sports Association (UPCSA), LCA is committed to nurturing chess talent at the grassroots level and providing structured opportunities for players of all age groups.
Our Objectives
• To promote chess at school, district, and grassroots levels
• To organize district championships and selection tournaments
• To encourage participation in State and National events
• To develop young talent through coaching camps and workshops
• To maintain transparency, discipline, and fair play in all tournaments

To make Lucknow a leading chess hub in Uttar Pradesh by fostering talent, discipline, and sportsmanship through systematic training and competitive exposure.
Lucknow Chess Association believes that chess is not just a game, but a powerful tool for developing concentration, analytical thinking, patience, and strategic decision-making among youth.
Our vision is to nurture a culture of chess in Uttar Pradesh by promoting it as a means to develop intelligence, patience, and strategic thinking. We aim to identify young talents, provide them proper guidance, and elevate them to compete at national and international levels.
